We’re looking for people who have current or past experience in veterinary services who would be interested in driving routes on an as-needed (and as-wanted basis). If you are thinking this may sound like an “Uber” type of job, you would be correct – but we are only hiring qualified and talented veterinary paraprofessionals.
Here’s Kinda How it Works
We get together a route of places to return memorials that we have prepared and/or companions that are to be brought back to our facility. Most of these routes will be 2-4 hours in length, and will begin and end at one of our offices or our facility.
Sometimes same day, sometimes a day in advance we’ll post up that we have a route available for our team. The posting will contain information on the area of the route, the expected time to complete the route, and what your compensation would be if you took care of the route. If you are interested in taking the job and are available, you’ll respond and let us know.
If you are busy or not available – no worries. You only need to respond to routes that you would like to complete. If you do have the time and the interest, you’ll let us know that you’d like to take a route. Once the route is assigned, you’ll get specific information about where, when, and what.

The Kind of Things You’ll Be Doing
This is an on-demand, as-wanted role, working directly with pet owners and veterinary staff. This position involves driving, returning memorials, receiving pets, and careful documentation.
Essential Functions
• Returning irreplaceable pet memorials that have been prepared by our team to veterinary practices or pet owners
• In the future, we will also have opportunities for our team members to work with directly with families as we begin our care of their companions
• Careful documentation and data management of companions and memorials
• Professional and compassionate care of pets, their owners, and our partners on medical staff
Required Qualifications:
• Must love dogs, cats, and all the pets that fill our lives with companionship
• High school degree or equivalent
• Valid NC Driver’s License and safe driving record
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Team player within team environment
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong ability to multi-task
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to use apps on a handheld device
• Veterinary practice experience and/or counseling experience
