How we serve Kinston

We come to you, every day.

When your companion passes — at home, at the veterinary clinic, expected or unexpected — we’re here. We pick up in Kinston and surrounding communities, and we treat every companion in our care with the dignity we’d want for our own.

Families in Kinston are served from our Sandhills NC Crematory at 221 Commercial Court, Sanford, NC 27330. You can reach this office directly at (910) 765-0007.

Kinston sits on the Neuse in Lenoir County, roughly two hours from our Sandhills crematory by way of US‑70 and Goldsboro. We serve Kinston together with La Grange and Pink Hill, coordinating with your veterinary clinic so that nothing is left waiting.

It is a real distance, and we’d rather say so plainly than pretend otherwise. Your companion travels in our care the entire way, and we’ll walk you through the timeline before anything is settled.

A Gentler Alternative

Water cremation — the most natural process available.

Companah is one of the few providers in eastern North Carolina offering water cremation. It uses gentle chemistry instead of flame — returning approximately 20 to 30 percent more cremated remains than flame-based cremation, with no flame and no smoke — no combustion at all.

What families are saying

I am deeply grateful for the care and compassion shown to me after the loss of my beloved cat, Riley. They were very responsive to my texts while we arranged her cremation, picked her up from my home, and returned her to me sooner than promised. During an incredibly painful time, their kindness, reliability, and gentle handling of every detail brought me great comfort.
