Fort Bragg is roughly forty‑five minutes from our Sandhills crematory in Sanford, down NC‑87 and NC‑24. We come to families in post housing — Ardennes, Normandy, Linden Oaks, Ste Mere Eglise — and to Spring Lake and Fayetteville alongside them.

Companah is one of the few providers in the Sandhills offering water cremation. It uses gentle chemistry instead of flame — returning approximately 20 to 30 percent more cremated remains than flame-based cremation, with no flame and no smoke — no combustion at all.
